MARTA
is Atlanta's award-winning rapid transit system. Downtown businesses are
directly served by the hub of MARTA's rail network, the Five Points Station.
Other key stations: Peachtree Center, Civic Center and North Avenue to
the north; Garnett to the south; Georgia State to the east and Dome/GWCC/Philips
Arena to the west.
The North Springs Station, the farthest point on the North Line, averages 27 minutes from Downtown. Indian Creek Station (East Line) is 20 minutes away, Doraville Station (Northeast) averages 24 minutes, and the West Line station - Hamilton E. Holmes - is nine minutes away.

Bus services from
Cobb, Clayton and Gwinnett counties send commuting Atlantans Downtown via express buses or via Hartsfield and other MARTA stations. Greyhound's Quick Link serves commuters from Macon. The regional transportation agency, GRTA will soon be sending a fleet of commuter buses Downtown from several other metro Atlanta counties.
