Ride Home (GRH), a program of Commute
Connections, offers an emergency ride home to users of alternative
transportation (carpool, vanpool, transit, bike, or walk).
GRH Info for Employers
Have your employees ever said: "I'd like to use alternative transportation but what if...?"
"My child is sick at school and I need to get home?""I have an emergency and can't get home during the day?"
"I have to work overtime unexpectedly and miss my ride?"
Now, they could be eligible for a Guaranteed Ride Home!
With GRH, your employees can get a free taxi ride or rental car in case of an emergency or unplanned overtime, provided they commute to work using alternative transportation (carpool, vanpool, bus, rail, bike, walk). This program provides a valuable employee benefit AT NO COST TO YOU!
Fill out the Employer Guaranteed Ride Home Agreement (34K, PDF) to enroll in the program.
GRH Info for Employees
The program is free, but requires:
- Your employer sign up and have a representative (usually human resource
manager) to keep track of the vouchers and usage.
- Alternative transportation users must register with Commute Connections.
