Atlanta-based media giant Turner Broadcasting System is making a big commitment to Downtown.

The company is donating $500,000 to Central Atlanta Progress to support its "Imagine Downtown" planning and implementation effort over the next three years.

"To the best of my knowledge, it is the largest corporate pledge we've ever received," said A.J. Robinson, who has been president of CAP for less than a year. "It's really a commitment to what we're trying to do."
