The Honorable (Council member name)
Atlanta City Council member
55 Trinity Avenue SW
Suite 2900
Atlanta, GA 30303
Dear Council member __________:
Passage of the commercial solicitation legislation that
will be addressed on Monday, June 20 is critical to the
economic future of Downtown and the entire City.
Today we are losing businesses, residents and conventions
because of the impact that vocational panhandlers are having
on the environment in Downtown.
As someone whose business and employees are impacted by
commercial solicitation/panhandling, I ask for your affirmative
vote to enact this legislation.
The legislation is sound, sensible and well thought-out
providing assistance to those in need and penalties for
those who regularly prey on our visitors, employees, residents
and students for their commercial gain.
Sincerely,
Council contacts/e-mail/phone:
