Effective Cycling Classes

If you commute to work Downtown on a bike, or would like to but lack the confidence and skills to maneuver your bike in Downtown's traffic, please join the Downtown Transportation Management Association and the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign as we host two Effective Cycling classes this Spring.

Effective Cycling classes cover the principles of vehicular cycling, bicycle selection and fit, helmet use, bike handling skills, traffic rules and responsibilities and basic maintenance skills. The course is based on a nationally recognized curriculum and the instructors are certified by the League of American Bicyclists.

Course Dates:

    Saturday, March 29, 2003 & April 5, 2003.
    9: 30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
    Thursday, May 1, 8, and 15
    6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Please note: Students must provide their own bicycle and helmet.

Where: Fulton County Central Library located at One Margaret Mitchell Square in the 2nd floor meeting room.

Cost: Free to Downtown employees and residents!
